Border Regiment Army Lists 1914-1918

This index is part of an on-going project to transcribe the Army Lists that contain the names of the officers of the Border Regiment during World War One. As you can imagine there are a lot of names listed in this resource. Not all the battalions have entries for each year, this is because in 1914 there was no call for Service Battalions (or pals battalions) at that time and therefore, the service battalions of the Border Regiment did not yet exist. The same can be said for the latter years when battalions no longer existed due to disbandment or amalgamation.
